Central New York Chapter of NYSARA Welcomes Comptroller Dinapoli and NYSARA Executive Director Madarasz to Meeting

New York State Comptroller Tom Dinapoli was a special guest at the NYSARA Central New York chapter’s monthly meeting in Syracuse, offering perspective on the importance of improving retirement security for all New Yorkers, the strength of the NYS Public Employee Retirement System and other thoughts about misguided federal policies.
Chapter President Bill Spreter introduced Dinaopli and noted his long record of competence and integrity as the state’s fiscal watchdog.
NYSARA Executive Director Stephen Madarasz was also a featured speaker presenting an overview of disturbing federal efforts to undermine Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare.
